If I could be a cartoon character .. I'd be Princess Kidagakash Nedakh..

Truth is - I could always relate to Disney Villains better. I thought Scar and Hades were hot. I think Maleficent is hot.

My parents bought me these books and movies to learn values from the princesses and faries – but I secretly loved the villains because I thought they never gave up and always had the guts to do what they wanted to do. I mean try being optimistic.

Also, I promised to write exactly what the tool generated and not challenge it like I always do.  It is good to challenge the brief because it generates new perspectives. But not today. #notetoself

Besides relating myself to villains and I know I can pull it off really well – this time I’d like to play Princess Kidagakash Nedakh (Kida), from Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Do you remember this movie?

I still don't understand why this movie did not well. But you should watch the documentary on Youtube to appreciate the effort and thought processes. FYI - this was back in 2001.

Also, before Elsa became 'the Queen on her own' – Kida was already one, but I always felt that she did not get the recognition she deserved.

So, a little background…

Allow me to introduce you to Princess Kidagakash Nedakh..

Kida has white long hair, large blue eyes, BROWN SKIN, and a toned physique. She only wears a blue bikini top with a sarong skirt and walks barefoot – so you also get to see her blue colored tattoos

Kida looks 21, but she is actually about 8,500 to 8,800 years old because the Atlantean Crystal gives Atlanteans abnormally long lives. If I could live that long and still look 21 with that kind of body and tattoos – I am not going to lie to myself and say otherwise.

Who is Kida?

Kida is the daughter of Kashekim Nedakh, the king of Atlantis during its height of power. At a very young age, she witnessed the near destruction of the central city of the continent when her mother, The Queen of Atlantis, is called forth by the Heart of Atlantis to save the city.

Due to her father wishing to prevent a repeat of what happened and thereby erasing much Atlantean history, she begins to lose the ability to remember the past culture and can only recall her mother being taken away by what she describes as a great star in the sky.

She believes that her people are beginning to lose their sense of self in Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and begins to investigate the past to rediscover their lost civilization.

Why Kida?

Warrior Princess
Because she is a warrior princess and the protector of Atlantis.

I have zero physical fighting skills – so I could use some of her skills.

Brutally Honest

Political Enthusiast

She has a keen understanding of politics and continues to develop her natural leadership skills so that she can be a STRONG QUEEN for her people. DUDEEEEE!

Master Linguist

Kida is a linguist, with the ability to decipher non-native tongues by simply referring to Atlantean, which is regarded as the root dialect of the ancient world.

THIS IS A SUPERPOWER PLS!

It gets better…

Telepathic

Kida has this powerful mental connection with the Heart of Atlantis and the ability to ephemerally bond with the energy as an ENTITY.

While in this state – SHE is virtually INDESTRUCTIBLE! She has these prophetic abilities to telepathically connect with the Heart of Atlantis.

WHAAAAAAAAT?

I swear to god – with my excellent abilities to Overthink – telepathy will save the world a a lot of trouble and come up with destructive campaigns to change the world.

I was 13 years old when I first watched this movie – I feel exactly the same about Kida now as I write this.  So, I personally feel – if I get to be Kida – I would have the ability to learn new things, and still, get to be me.

I mean come on – telepathy – I could communicate with serial killers.

Ok. Too much for this piece.

Anyways – this is also why I am a DISNEY FREAK. I will someday go to Disney World and make all my dreams come true.  Even if I get there at 50, with 3 kids.
K. that’s all.

Love,
Your Favourite Brown Girl

#001 – I won the lottery? What would I do?

I remember using this as a topic of conversation with almost anyone I know.
It is also my dad’s favourite thought – my dad’s a dreamer – my mom, on the other hand, is practical.

Recently, I ranted about the electricity bill (well – who didn’t) and also – due to some problem with the lock I had to call a locksmith to break the door open and that also cost me a lot of money.
My dad who was about 130 miles away couldn’t stop calling me because he was worried. I also inherited this from my dad – so if you get multiple calls from me – just remember my dad gave it to me.

I was obviously in a bad mood – because it was about MONEY – so I tried avoiding his call coz I didn’t want to be annoyed with overly anxious dad.

About 8 miscalls later – I answered his call and spoke to him about everything that happened the kind of money, I had to take out for everything.

My dad was all calm by then and he simply went ‘If I took some numbers today, and If I win the lottery, I’ll give you some money’

And I laughed about it the whole night. As I type this out – I am still laughing.
So, yea – back to where we are supposed to be at.

What would I do if I won the lottery today? Let’s just say I won 1 Million Ringgit. FYI – this is not written according to my top priority/sequence.

Be Debt Free
I’d obviously opt to be debt-free first. Study loans, credit card bills. All of it sorted. Done.

Pizza Party
I love kids - they make me feel young over and over again. So, I’d like to have a pizza party in a nice cosy venue, with a projector on playing Disney movies with underprivileged kids. I would love to talk to them about my favourite Disney characters and give them a PIZZA MY HEART (#badumtss)

Get a nice Couch
I’d get a nice couch where I can just be lazy the entire day and also get a nice cover to protect it from Arlo, Master of the Couch.

Build a Greenhouse from scratch
I recently started getting a little crazy with plants. I never thought this day would come – but yea. It happened. I’d love to build a greenhouse from scratch - a place purely designed and assembled by yours truly to explore and experiment or even have a picnic.

Adopt a child.
I always wanted to be a mom. ALWAYS. Arlo made me realise further that I am capable of doing it. So, I would adopt a child. Even if I can’t have them to live with me (just yet) – I would love to contribute and nurture him/her with my time and capacity.

Travel.
I’d book about 10 trips to India (immediately) and also go for a EURO tour. I have not travelled that much – but in that very small experience I have – I realised how architecture has always excited me. I’d love to visit ancient temples, houses, cathedrals.. anything that has its own story.

I’ll not stop working
Nope. no plans to stop – not for now at least – especially after MCO. Nope.

A car.
Let’s face it – it is about time.

Shopping Spree
Obviously.

A LEICA M Monochrom (Typ 246)
If I am going to be travelling then I’ll definitely do it with this camera – I’d love to capture everything that intrigues me in black and white.

Refurbishing my home
I’d like like to give our house in Ipoh a makeover. I’ll start by getting the recycling guys to come over.

via GIPHY

Road Trips
I’d plan road trips with my loved ones and Arlo. First around Malaysia, and then South-East Asia. But before everything else, I'll need to train Arlo.

via GIPHY
Gifts
I’d buy some nice gifts for people close to my heart. not just for Christmas

via GIPHY
Charity
I would initiate a movement that will involve people who share the same passion. I’d do one for mental health and another one for cancer patients. Besides funds – I’d love to include engagements – to spread kindness, love and support to those who are struggling.

Maybe ill start off with a free hug campaign..maybe

That’s all I have – for a 1 Million ringgit. Nothing that involves financial stability (if you noticed. My mom would not be alright with this idea) – but what I’d like to do if I win the lottery is to experience ‘FREEDOM’ and to live for the moment.

I don’t know how much time I have with everyone in this world – and if I did have a lot of time – then I have an entire lifetime to stabilise.

I’d like to make those around me happy and surprise myself a little!

Me
